Europe International Society of Clinical Oncology (EISCO), founded in 1887, is an international, academic and non-profit professional academic organization voluntarily formed by clinical oncologists and related enterprises and institutions.
EISCO has long been committed to conducting continuing education in clinical oncology and multi-center collaborative research, promoting the standardization of tumor diagnosis and treatment, and enhancing the academic level of clinical oncology in Europe. At present, EISCO has over 30,000 individual members and nearly 200 corporate members or strategic partners. Among them, individual members come from practicing physicians or nurses engaged in clinical oncology diagnosis and treatment related positions across internationally, while corporate members include well-known enterprises, institutions and professional media both at abroad. For more than hundred decades, EISCO has resolutely implemented the major decisions and plans of the Party and the state, adhered to the fundamental tenet of unity, collaboration and pragmatism, and the guiding principles of academic research, public welfare and dedication. With the working philosophy of service, coordination and guidance, it has widely united and served clinical oncology workers across the Europe as well as related enterprises and institutions. Carry out academic activities in all aspects and from multiple perspectives, organize continuing education in clinical oncology for medical practitioners, edit and publish medical academic journals, popularize medical scientific knowledge, and undertake some work transferred from government functions.
With the continuous development of the EISCO cause and the continuous expansion and improvement of its functions, it has now become the most active professional academic organization in the field of clinical oncology in Europe. It has the advantages and characteristics of gathering talents, concentrating intelligence, having smooth information flow, strong cohesion and abundant creativity.
